When someone asks me “so what exactly do you DO with a client?” (and that’s basically what you’re asking by clicking on this page), they want a quick and easily digestible answer. I want that too anytime I hire someone. However, “I coach you” doesn’t come with the same understanding as “I do your taxes” or “I wax your back”. (Both equally painful…) The outcome and the methodology are unique to each person so “I coach you, Susan” is very different from “I coach you, Steve”

Now we’re in a conversation about what coaching is in the first place. My quick and dirty definition – “get to your goals faster, easier, and with less gnashing of teeth”.

“That sounds great, but how do you do it?”

Clients come with different needs, strengths, personalities, experiences, and fashion senses. (Sidenote: Jorts aren’t allowed to come back. They’re done guys.)

My coaching, whether it be 1:1, small group, or a corporate team, is bespoke. I tailor the experience to be sure you get the most value out of your investment and our time together. I’ve got a lot of tricks in my bag but there’s no way for me to know which ones we’ll use ‘till we start working together. What works for you, doesn’t necessarily work for someone else.

I believe you’re too much of a bad-ass not to be awesome; out-loud and authentically you. No shame. No regrets. No fucks to give. I won’t let you settle for less, and I’ll call you on your bullshit when I see it.

I believe that ample support and structure is the difference between intentional, earth-shattering success and incremental floundering. I help you figure out what’s working and make it even better, what isn’t working and eliminate it, and what you’ve gotta do to get where you wanna go.

I believe in the power of connection and connection is best when you’re a fully integrated person. I don’t wanna have coffee with you while you talk to me in your “work voice”. I don’t want you to have a “work voice” at all.

I believe you actually (deep down) know what you want and (deeper down) how to get it, you just don’t know how to find those diamonds in all the rough. I help you uncover all the good stuff and navigate through the noise.

If you’re thinking about hiring a coach, get in touch with me and let’s see where it goes. My success is your success (PLATITUDE BUT TRUE), and I am 100% invested in making your life into the special sparkly somethin’ somethin’ you want it to be.

But, don’t take my word for it (#ReadingRainbow), here’s what some of my clients have said about working with me.

Working with Strother is like looking into a mirror that reflects back to you all the creativity and vision that has been quietly living inside you all these years. With compassion and humor, Strother helps his clients identify and amplify their passions, whatever it may be. He's my cheerleader, my truth teller, my real talker, my coach, and friend. Strother is smart, thoughtful, compassionate and motivating. He helped me to overhaul the way I think about “work-life balance,” throw off the self-imposed constraints of education and experience, and build the courage to leave the world of business behind and pursue a creative life.

He saved me 266 hours of work in one conversation. It happened through a few deep questions where he challenged my thinking on redundant prep time I was using as a crutch. It changed those next 6 months for me in an instant

Hiring Strother as a coach was the best decision of my career. He pushed me to push myself, he supported and offered comprehensive feedback on some of my crazy ideas, and most of all helped me to realize my own potential.

Brie

Consultant / Mercer

Strother did an awesome job at asking the right (and sometimes difficult) questions which helped to clear out the mental chatter that was hindering my progress. He helped to redirect my inner monologue as well as improve my closest relationships. Strother provided accountability and structure at a time that I needed it most. Working with Strother trumps any self-help book that I’ve ever read.

Strother pushed me to take action on something I have been avoiding for a long time. He was honest, open, and very straightforward. He asked questions that I wasn’t willing to ask of myself.

Wendy

Entrepreneur

I have a clear plan for success and I have my coaching sessions with Strother to thank for my renewed belief in myself and my abilities. I’ll never be able to thank him enough.

Chad

Head of Product / LoudFund

Strother was able to take a general concept and point out specific areas in my day-to-day in regards to time management and delegation has helped my productivity immensely. I didn’t even see how i was working against myself…until Strother had insight into my work and was able to use his creative brain in solving some problems with me. I can’t recommend this guy and his services enough. It’s helped me improve my game and not feel like a chicken with my head cut off running around like crazy

Spencer

Fundraiser / Transformative Development

He is an acute observer who sees clearly, is able to get to the heart of the matter and ask the most penetrating questions which open up new perspectives on my issues. He has helped me to see where my anxiety, need to be perfect, or fear is limiting my view and often holding me back. His coaching has prompted me into action. I am taking risks that seem far less riskier than doing things the same way as I have always done. Not only do I find myself doing things differently, I am also finding that I am feeling less pressure and accomplishing more. I am thrilled with the results.
